Sound Healing
Discover the gentle, restorative power of therapeutic sound.
Understanding Sound Healing
What is Sound Healing?
Sound healing uses instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, and other therapeutic sounds to create soothing vibrations that help quiet the mind, release tension, and support balance within the body.
The practice is rooted in the understanding that everything in the universe is in a state of vibration — including our bodies. When we experience stress, illness, or emotional turbulence, these vibrations can become disrupted. Sound healing works to restore harmony and flow.
It's a practice that has been used for thousands of years across many cultures, from Tibetan singing bowls to Native American drums, from ancient Greek sound temples to modern clinical settings.
The Experience
What to Expect
A opportunity to slow down and let sound breeze over you.
At Solbrisa Sound Sanctuary, our sound baths are an invitation to slow down and return to yourself.
You'll be guided into rest as gentle waves of sound flow through the space, created using carefully chosen instruments designed to soothe the mind and body. Like a soft sea breeze, the vibrations help quiet mental chatter, release tension, and support deep relaxation.
Each session is a sanctuary — a pause from daily life — where you are held in sound, stillness, and ease. No experience is needed. Simply arrive as you are, get comfortable, and allow the sound to carry you.
What is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath is a deeply relaxing, meditative experience where you are immersed in calming sounds and vibrations.
During a sound bath, you lie down or sit comfortably while instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Himalayan singing bowl, gong and therapeutic percussion are played. The sounds are layered and sustained, creating waves of vibration that help the body and mind slow down.
You don't need to do anything — there's no movement, talking, or effort. The intention is simply to rest and receive as the sound "bathes" you, much like being surrounded by water or a gentle breeze.
